Navy Base Yokosuka, Japan



Yokosuka (横須賀市, Yokosuka-shi?) is a city located in Kanakawa Prefecture. And from the 1950s, United States Fleet Activities Yokosuka has been home port for the United States Seventh Fleet, and played a critical support role in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Yokosuka was the site of many anti-war protests during the late 1960s and 1970s. The nuclear powered USS George Washington is currently based at Yokosuka, the first time a U.S. nuclear powered ship has been permanently based in Japan. The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force also operates a military port next to the American base, as well as numerous training facilities at scattered locations around the city.

Japanese Kotatsu Tables

Japanese Kotatsu tables are use for heating and eating and family time in Japanese Home. Kotatsu table has a heater built into the table. It has a table top and then a table bottom. This is where the but a blanket between the table top and table bottom. They turn on the heat and set under the table and under the Blanket. This is for Family time and meals and to enjoy TV. I have been able to use the kotatsu and it is a wonderful thing to use. And you will be able to kept warm

French Castle in skid row of Albuquerque, NM

There is a French Style Castle in the skid rows of Albuquerque, NM.  How amazing this is to be in a very bad part of town, it is truely a wonderful site to see. It is known Gertrude Zachary's castle. She began contruction in 2006 and was completed in 2008. Many people thought it was going to be midevil castle style while being built.  The Castle is truely amazoning and Mrs Zachary put alot of sdetail into designing and builting it. And it cost 2.1 million to built.
